I thought the story would be : the perpetrators already knew that some kids were also in the truck, so he tried to confuse them by driving his truck thru some uncommon roads to get to the mountain, since he didn’t wanna hurt the kids and couldn’t drive for too long or else he had to stop at gas station. Lol. Didn’t know it’d be a twist! Great job Aoyama Gosho!

yeah, i was wondering how a gaggle of 7 year olds got more than 30 minutes outside of town (at truck speeds) while they're all on foot. what, did they take a train? bus? taxi? they can't all pile on Conan's super electric solar-charged skateboard and zoom out to the woods.

yup, Kogoro was a total idiot yet again.
1 they got both the guys' names right.
2 they got a visual ID on one guy from his picture on the wall.
3 they got the truck's number and description right.
4 the punctual guy is missing, even his wife called the company looking for him.
5 the president is missing, even if (who tha fuck does this? even you're the boss!?) he
doesn't normally come into work till noon. no wonder the punctual guy is stealing their
best clients, if the big boss can't even be bothered to come into work before lunch!

i bet Kogoro is going to be LIVID he missed out on yet another high-profile... yet pro-bono/no cash... case! ;) hahahah!

It’s a decent episode

It was clever to let us think we solved the mystery when we in reality got the killer mixed up with the victim. And a body BURIED im the forest 🌳 a first for detective Conan. Instead of making the worlds largest riddle and having the body found im the span of 1h to 2 days. U bury the body and let nature take care of the evidence. Great improvement Conan.
And Haibara liking Higo was great, like a little normal. Haibara doing a normal thing isn’t normal. Even though she should continue not being normal because normal people these days are lazy.

Did they really go to that shady forest where a body was supposedly burried without any adults or supervision? Like not even Ran or Sonoko either? And I know Conan isn't actually a child but he's physically one and thus they don't look very threatening if say a murderer is nearby or if they need to escape.

It'd be difficult since they're children on a moutain in the middle of nowhere and since they're alone I'm gonna assume they took a bus that had a stop nearby, so even if they manage to run away they'll never actually be able to get far away enough to escape since they don't have an adult with a car with them. They might be able to lose the person in the forest and hide long enough to call help though. Oh thank god, Conan called the cops. 23:30, Conan and Mitsuhiko are matching.

Okay episode felt like another detective boys case I mean I liked the genta themed one where he was scared
